July 28th, 1999 night

Actually. I woke up in the early hours of the 29th with this dream.

I am walking on a street with Baba and many (men) devotees. I ask Baba "Swami, please come to our house and eat with us". He says " What will you feed me?" I am thinking of something quick and easy, looking at the large crowd that I have to feed . I could only come up with Upma. Swami reads my mind and says "Not Upma. I don't like Upma". I say "But Swami, what else can I do quickly?". He repeats "Not Upma. I don't like Upma". I say " How about Pesarattu and Upma and Allam Pachchadi?". "OK, I will come" He says. He sits in a chair outside the house. My husband and I go inside the house. The house is very messy - boxes, vacuum cleaner etc. I tell me husband "Please tidy up quickly and vacuum. Baba will be in any time."

I woke up.

Upma = Cream of wheat cereal.
Pesarattu =  Pancake made of moong bean
Allam Pachchadi = Spicy paste made of ginger, tamarind etc.

Moral: Always keep '   ' clean - Baba is there anytime.
            Don't go for short cuts - do a good and complete job..
